I did something really stupid yesterday. I wiped out my whole ripped music collection. It’s just that it took me so long to rip that stuff. But, luckily it’s all on cd’s. Especially my huge Grateful Dead collection. Well, not really huge. Just probably 25 shows in all compared to the 2500 shows that now exist on Archive.com spanning from 66 to 95. Now that’s big and that’s where I’ve gotten it all from. Unfortunately though, a lot of the good stuff can no longer be downloaded, only steamed. But, I knew that was coming and I purposely gobbled up cd disks to get what good shows I could get my hands on. The result is that I have a pretty damn good collection, especially from 1971 and 1972. Of course there’s the classic 1970 show from Fillmore East as well as the early golden stuff from, I mean, 1966, 1967 and 1968. I gleaned some pretty good quality recordings for the time and I have them all. But, you know, it really sucks that for just a brief shining moment you could get all of this stuff. There’s probably still some good stuff there but you have to dig through and find the ones that can be downloaded. But, otherwise you can always just stream it and be very happy. I’ve thought about getting with some of the people who’ve made comments on the shows and see if I can get a hold of them and get it from them.

Wow, I’ve talked a whole lot about spiritual stuff here, haven’t I. Well, the thing of it is that I put my new moon check out there and I’m done with it. Thy will be done, as they say. Oh, cool. Got “The DaVinci Code” from New Spirit today. I can’t wait to read it. The movie is out but I Will Not see it until it comes out on payperview so that I have time to read the book first. It doesn’t matter. The same goes for Celestine Prophesy too. Those two will obviously aire on ppv at around the same time. I’m eager to see cp and dvc. Then further down the road, Dan Millman’s “The Peaceful Warrior” will be coming out who-knows-when and so I’m eager to see that one. Meanwhile I have my own adventure that I’m currently working on, namely “Tamara’s Journey”

Man, I thought I’d do some editing on it last night. I’m on the eighth draft and I feel that I’m botching it. What I think I’m going to do is go back to the seventh draft and start over considering the suggestions that Yumi and Dr. Harris made. They seemed to be the ones that made more sense. Most importantly, I need to be intuitive while editing. Well, this is how it goes when you write your first book. I never thought about how to develop characters or how to set up a plot. I just let it flow with guidance. And I’m going to try to stay committed to how it came out originally. I received most of the favorable reactions and comments from Maureen, Beth Fagin, Hong-Yu and a couple of people from The Center Of Light as a result of the sixth draft except for the tweaking I did with Eric’s suggestion and comments. Ok, so as a result of tweaking it only with chapter one, I created draft seven. What I need to do is to keep Eric’s suggestions in mind as well as Yumi’s and some of Dr. Harris’s as I go through only and I mean ONLY chapters one through three and then get those three chapters up to snuff. When I do and I’m happy with it then I’ll start the second wave of submission.

Thanks for listening.
