Tamara's Journey TPOAT is about a woman who goes in search of her soul to find spiritual enlightenment.

Much of the story takes place in Japan. The main character, Michiko Tanaka, is involved in a special project initiated by the Ministry of Antiquities to search for and uncover the remains of a sixteenth century emperor. Unknown to Ms. Tanaka is a lifetime she once lived as Emperor Kantagawa, one of the nations most powerful emperors who ascended the throne at a time of political implosion and now it is this same monarch she is searching for.

While in the cave of the emperor's internment, Michiko is confronted by the beautiful apparition of the emperor's wife, The Queen, who bestows upon her amazing superhuman abilities that render her invulnerable and with immense strength. Much to her surprise, but in obedience to her fate, she commits herself to fighting crime and helping people in trouble. But lurking somewhere behind the façade of her newly found purpose is a will, elusive and unknown to her still, that is calling her to begin to look beyond the ephemeral satisfaction of solving the world's problems from a physical viewpoint and embrace the power within her eternal being.
